| Microraptor was a tiny tree dwelling dinosaur that is very closely related to todays birds. In addition to feathers on its arms, Microraptor had long plumes on its hind legs, making it look as though it had four wings. Found in Northeastern China from the Early Cretaceous period (123 to 118 million years ago), estimated 2.5 feet, weighing 20 lbs.
