Bombardier Beetles are ground beetles with an impressive defense mechanism: They use a chemical mixture to ward off predators. Join Museum naturalists at the Blakeslee/Barrows Preserve to search for, observe and identify this unusual beetle species. We'll undoubtedly discover additional invertebrates during this interesting field foray. Limit 20. Naturalist Certificate Hours: 3. Difficulty: 3 (on a 1 to 4 scale)
