Instructors: Jim Bissell, Dr. Tim Matson, David Kriska and Joe DeRocher
Spend two nights in rustic cabins at Camp Calvary along the shores of Lake Erie in Ashtabula County. We’ll spend the weekend exploring several nearby Museum natural areas, including the North Kingsville Sand Barrens, Cathedral Woods, Blakeslee Barrows and Kingsville Swamp. Museum astronomer Joe DeRocher will join us one night for a stargazing session, weather permitting, on the eve of the autumnal equinox. Meals are provided starting with Sat breakfast and ending with Sun lunch. Limit 20. Naturalist Certificate Hours: 12. Difficulty: 3 (on a 1 to 4 scale)
