More Telescope Mirror-Making for the Amateur

Complete the mirror you started in our previous course, Telescope Mirror-Making for the Amateur! Take this six-week course to polish and refine the surface of your telescope mirror. Learn the steps to polishing and figuring your own precision optical surface. Also, get more tips on advanced telescope construction and how to outfit your existing telescope at home for taking night-sky pictures. Upon successful completion of this course, mirror-making students will receive a certificate suitable for framing. The fee for this course includes the cost of materials and is open to those who have taken the previous mirror-making course. Polishing supplies provided.  Minimum age: 12 (young mirror-makers must be accompanied by a parent); Limit 10.
