Wed, July 9, 10 am to 3 pm and Thu, July 10, 8 am to 3 pm
Instructors: Mark Kollecker, Nancy Howell, Dr. Brian Redmond and Museum staff
Budding archaeologists and their parents will enjoy this rare experience to study prehistoric Native Americans at the Museum and in the field. We'll spend Day 1 at the Museum learning about Ohio’s prehistoric cultures and the basics of archaeology. Day 2, we'll be in the field helping Museum archaeologists excavate an actual prehistoric Native American site. Participants must be entering the 5th grade as of fall 2008. Maximum ratio of one parent/guardian per four students. Limit 12.
