Sight. Most humans rate it as the most important of the five senses, but how well do you understand the functions of those amazing orbs? Join our health educators in an investigation of the properties of visible light, unusual optical illusions and what life might be like without the ability to see. Finish your exploration by dissecting a cow’s eyeball and comparing its anatomy to that of the human eye
.

Programs may include hands-on, classroom and/or gallery presentations as appropriate. Students will be grouped by age according to enrollment. Cost of program is $6/person per topic with one adult free. Siblings younger than 6 may not attend these programs for older children.

In response to requests, we are adding programs for 4 and 5 year olds. These hands-on self-directed programs will be related to the topics listed above and run from 1:15 to 2 pm on the same days. Parents are expected to attend with their child. Cost of program is $6/person per topic.
