This event is Sold Out.  Thank you!

Saturday, December 5, 10 am to 4 pm
Instructors: Bethany Sandvik and Museum Staff

In this daylong workshop, youths will create an entire production from auditions to opening afternoon. (What a great time for parents to work on their holiday shopping!) Participants will create their own costumes, design props, participate in actor warm-ups, rehearse the play and perform it for parents and Museum guests at the end of the session. Performance time is 3:30 pm and tickets will be free. The play will be based on the Museum exhibition Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils New Discoveries. Participants will also tour this exhibit as part of the day. Enrollment in the class does not guarantee a lead role for your child in the performance. However, all children will participate on stage. Appropriate for ages 7 through 13. No prior theatre experience necessary. Limit 15 (minimum 6).

Note: Please indicate child's name and age in the "comments" section upon check-out.
