Life Drawing at the Museum I: Perspective and Proportions
Non-Member Member

Saturday, November 21, 10 am to noon (grades 5 through 8) and 1 to 3 pm (grades 9 through 12)
Instructor: Jeff Day

Life drawing teaches you to "see" — a fundamental skill for any budding artist or naturalist. What cooler place to draw from life than the Museum! Students will try exercises on perspective and draw in the galleries with tips from artist/Museum educator Jeff Day. The Museum will provide an ebony pencil, charcoal and kneaded eraser for students to try out and keep. Newsprint will be available, but students may also choose to bring their own paper. Extra time may be available to draw in the galleries if desired. Limit 15.
