Peter Annin, a former Newsweek correspondent and an associate director of the Institutes for Journalism and Natural Resources, assesses the battles being fought over the diversion of fresh water from the Great Lakes. He explains the social, economic and environmental challenges that lie ahead for the region as humanity's need for fresh water outstrips our supply.

The lecture in Murch Auditorium is open to the public.
