Sponsored by Biodiversity Alliance | All proceeds go toward amphibian conservation.
As part of the 2008 Year of the Frog campaign, Biodiversity Alliance will present an evening with Tim Matson, Ph.D., Museum Curator of Vertebrate Zoology, at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
For nearly two decades the global decline of many species of amphibians has been a cause for concern. Yet, some of the amphibian species of northeastern Ohio are stable or actually increasing in abundance or distribution, while others are indeed experiencing declines and local extirpations. Dr. Matson will discuss the factors affecting some northeastern Ohio amphibian populations and communities at this special lecture sponsored by Biodiversity Alliance.
