Conservation Symposium Series: Workshops
In collaboration with this year’s Conservation Symposium, we are offering three workshops on Thursday, September 8, 2011. All will be held at the Museum.

The Science of Climate Change
Thursday, September 8, 2011
9:30 am to noon
Instructors: Nathan Taxel and Martin Calabrese, M.A., The Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Fee: SRC member: $20; nonmember: $25

Native Plants for the Home Garden
Thursday, September 8, 2011
10 am to 2 pm
Instructors: Garrett Ormiston & Trish MacKeigan, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Fee: $20 per person

Rain Barrel Workshop: Save the rain for a sunny day!
Thursday, September 8, 2011
2 pm to 4 pm
Instructor: Amy Roskilly, Cuyahoga County Soil & Water Conservation District
Fee: $60 (includes rain barrel, downspout diverter and parts).
$20 for extra barrel (to be attached to other barrel to make a two barrel system)
Rain barrel workshop registration is closed.
