The Bald Eagle population in Ohio has made an astounding recovery since they were nearly extirpated in the late 1970s. We will head west to Sandusky Bay, where there is a large population, to observe the birds firsthand. Travel by Museum van. The Museum will provide spotting scopes and binoculars as we visit a number of active nest sites where we will hope to see the majestic birds that are the symbol of our nation. Minimum age 8. Limit: 13.
