| This hand carved Peruvian Gourd Owl is a piece if traditional Peruvian folkart that stands about 2-3 inches tall. These gourds are traditionally carved by men, women and children who live in the Andean mountains. After they harvest and peel the outer skin off the gourd they set the gourds out to dry in the sun. When dry they use tools to carve and burn the design into the gourd. (Sold individually--size and color may vary) |
