In Sears Exhibit Hall Learn the night sky inside the kid-sized Starlab portable planetarium!
In the Classroom Learn to grind your own telescope mirror in a live, hands-on demonstration! Take a walk around the grinding barrel, help to grind the mirror’s curve, and enter your name to win the mirror you just worked on!
In Mueller Observatory Take a tour of Mueller Observatory for safe solar observing! (Observations only as weather permits.)
In Smead Discovery Center Play “Survivor Mars” to figure out how to survive on Mars! Examine “Mars rocks” that resemble those found on Mars! Test your knowledge of fact or fiction about the Solar System! Play Martian Bingo! Make-and-take your own activity on the phases of the Moon!
