The Blue Planet Cafe
Welcome to The Blue Planet Cafe, where dining is worlds away from ordinary. The Blue Planet offers full lunch service Monday through Saturday, 11:30am to 2pm and Sunday, noon to 2pm.
The Blue Planet is brought to you by A Taste of Excellence Catering. Our menu features the culinary creations of Executive Corporate Chef Scott Tupciauskas, who brings an international flair and a focus on freshness to everything we serve.
The Blue Planet is also a “green” cafe. We use fresh organic vegetables and free range chicken. Food ordered to go is served on Genpak’s Harvest Collection plates and cups that are made from annually renewable resources and are biodegradable and compostable.
The cafe’s decor was created by local designer Chris Demkow, who looked to the Museum’s galleries for inspiration. He has transformed the space with vibrant colors and detailed craftsmanship. Dine with us and experience The Blue Planet for yourself!

· The Calypso Honey-smoked ham on a French bread baguette with grilled zucchini, yellow squash and roasted red pepper. Swiss cheese and a stone-ground mustard spread.
· The Jet Stream Shaved roasted turkey on focaccia with caramelized onion, roasted red peppers, hickory-smoked bacon, Swiss cheese and a honey Dijon spread.
· The Stratosphere Roast beef piled high on our fresh nine-grain bread, finished with smoked cheddar cheese, garden grown leaf lettuce and sliced beefy tomatoes. Accented with our very own fresh basil and creamy horseradish spread.
· From The Deep Blue Sea Fresh Albacore tuna salad mixed with capers, minced lemon zest, diced onion, sliced cucumber, and celery. Seasoned with the chef’s special blend of fresh herbs and spices. Wrapped in a sun-dried tomato shell.
