Adopt-a-Wild Child Program

Make One of Our Family Members One of Yours

You can’t keep a bobcat in your backyard or a fox in your family room, but you can do the next best thing! Adopt an animal in the Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden through the Adopt-a-Wild Child program.

Your gift helps underwrite the care and feeding of the Museum’s animals. It also makes it possible for us to offer them a range of activities that enrich their lives.

So bring something a little bit wild into your life (or someone else’s) and adopt an animal today.

Adoption Levels

• $25 – Receive a certificate and photo of your “wild child”
• $50 – Receive both of the above plus a special Wildlife Resource Center newsletter
• $100 – Receive all of the above, plus a meeting with the animal of your choice (caretaker included)
• $500 – Receive all of the above, plus an invitation to “Twilight in the Woods”
• $1,000 – Receive all of the above, plus the opportunity to volunteer in the Wildlife Resource Center for a day
• $1,500 – Receive all of the above, plus membership in the Museum’s Linnaean Society, which includes public recognition in the annual report, a Museum Participating membership, 20 percent Museum Store discount, invitation for two people to all private exhibition preview receptions, reserved seating at Explorer Series lectures in addition to members’ discount on tickets and an invitation for two people to the Annual Donor Appreciation Dinner.
