Distance Learning Awards

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History's Distance Learning Educators have been recognized for their excellent work. Here are just a few of the awards they have received:

September 2011: CMNH DL Educators received a 2010-2011 CILC Pinnacle Award from the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC).
June 2011: CMNH DL Educators were selected to receive the Berrien RESA Teacher's Choice Award, for the third year in a row.
August 2010: CMNH DL Educators received a 2009-2010 CILC Pinnacle Award Honorable Mention from the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC).

 

In May 2010, CMNH Distance Learning Educators were selected to receive the Berrien RESA Teacher's Choice Award, for the second year in a row.
July 2009: CMNH DL Educators received the CILC Pinnacle Award
June 2009: Museum Educators were chosen to present at the 2009 National Educational Computing Conference
  Spring 2009: CMNH Educators were selected to receive a Berrien RESA Teachers’ Choice Award
2009: Museum Educators received a grant from Giant Eagle to develop the Distance Learning program: BALTO:  A History of Humans, Huskies & Health in Alaska.
2009: Dominion Educational Partnership grant awarded to Museum Distance Learning Educators to develop two programs to teach students about climate change.
