EDUCATORS: BE EXTREME!

Don't miss the Extreme Mammals Workshop
Wed, Jan 26, 2011, 5:00 to 7:30 pm

Designed for grade 4-12 educators, but all are welcome.

Mammals are found from the Arctic tundra to the tropical rainforest, from the desert to Ohio's backyards, and the air and sea as well. What diversity! Learn what defines a mammal, what's "normal" and "extreme" in the mammalian realm and what adaptations and specializations have evolved that take some mammals to the EXTREME. Mammals are perfect teaching tools for your lessons. We will explore the Extreme Mammals exhibit while working on activities dealing with fossils, adaptations, teeth, reproduction . . . and YOU.

Fee: SRC member: $20; nonmember: $25

Catch a Sneak Peek of the Extreme Mammals Exhibit online, and then join us on January 26!

Registration closes on January 19; call (216) 231-2075 to sign up, or register online now!
