Do members have special parking privileges?
The Museum does not provide preferred parking for members, however we usually are able to accommodate all visitors in our lot. "Friend" level members and above receive free parking during Museum hours. Parking is reserved for Museum members and visitors only. Members may not use our lot as a commuter lot.
Is my membership tax-deductible?
All memberships of $75 and under are fully tax-deductible. Other membership levels have the following tax-deductibility:
• Mentor: $430 tax-deductible
• Associate: $200 tax-deductible
• Friend: $75 tax-deductible
• Nature League: $75 tax-deductible

Can I apply a matching gift to the cost of a membership?
Your employer may have a matching gift program that will match the cost of your membership with a donation to the Museum. Matching gift donations cannot be applied toward a membership, but must instead go into the Museum's Annual Fund.
Can I apply my admission receipt to the cost of a membership?
Yes! You can apply the full amount of your Museum admission receipt to the cost of a membership up to 30 days after your visit.
Can I use my Museum membership for admission to other museums?
The Museum participates in the ASTC Passport Program which provides free admission to participating museums outside a 90-mile radius of the Museum.
Can my nanny use my membership?
When your nanny or babysitter is accompanying your children to the Museum, he or she can receive admission with your membership.
