The Trout Club
The Trout Club of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History was founded in 1978. The group's mission is to promote public knowledge of coldwater fisheries and habitats, conservation and stream ecology.
The club holds monthly dinner meetings from October through May that feature nationally known speakers.
At other times during the year, the Trout Club sponsors classes and activities related to fly fishing and outings to prime angling streams.
The Trout Club's 35th Annual Banquet and Auction is on April 27, 2013. The Trout Club's spring banquet is an annual highlight. Proceeds from this popular event fund the group's support of various conservation and environmental programs related to coldwater fisheries.
