Areas of specialization or interest:
Lithic studies; prehistory and ethno-history of Eastern North America; prehistory of India and Pakistan; archaeometry; technological analyses of artifacts and materials conservation; prehistoric society and social organization; collections computerization and databases; curation and archiving.

Current research:
Analyzing projectile points (arrowheads) from several late prehistoric Native American sites in Ohio. Studying stone tools from a Southern Neolithic site in India to determine the methods of their manufacture and use and changes in these through time.
