Resources: Invertebrate Zoology Graduate Program Opportunity

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History Department of Invertebrate Zoology collaborates with local universities to give graduate students the ability to earn a Master's or Ph.D. in Biology while conducting their research at the Museum!

Students may enroll in the biology program of the following Universities and work with Museum personnel during their quest for a graduate degree:

Case Western Reserve University (Department of Biology)
Cleveland State University (Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences)
John Carroll University (Department of Biology)

Graduate Funding:

Students may apply for Teaching Assistantships at the universities to obtain tuition waiver and/or a stipend.

Research in Wetlands Management at Winous Point:

Winous Point Marsh Conservancy is currently providing funding for Master's level research at their facility. The graduate program is run through a biology M.S. curriculum at a Cleveland-area college or university, while the student works in the Invertebrate Zoology Lab of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
