Donald K. Yeomans is a prominent astronomer who currently works as a Senior Research Scientist for NASA, focusing on the study of comets and asteroids. He wrote Comet Halley: Fact & Folly in anticipation of the comet's appearance in our solar system in 1986.

This tiny "artist book" is the smallest volume in the Museum's Rare Books collection (view the last image below to see it standing next to the largest, Gould's Monograph of the Trochilidae). It was hand printed, colored, and bound, and is part of a limited edition of 350 copies printed at the Ampersand Workshop (the Library's copy is Copy F). The book is also signed by author Yeomans, colorist Carmen Voss, and binder Bela Blau.
