The Sparrows of Ohio Symposium

September 30 – October 1, 2006

Sponsored by The Ohio Ornithological Society, Kirtland Bird Club, Black Swamp Bird Observatory and the Museum

The Sparrow Symposium was a successful gathering of birdwatchers from across Ohio. Kenn Kaufman delivered a well-received talk here at the museum on "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Sparrow" highlighting fascinating aspects of natural history of the sparrows as well as how they interact with humans. The Ohio Ornithological Society continues to organize meetings about birds throughout the state.  For more details, visit www.ohiobirds.org.
