Professional Experience:

Twenty seven years teaching at college & university level. Six years contract research on Rhododendron breeding and plant tissue culture. Two years contract research on estuarine phytoplankton. Four years Research Assistant Paleobotany Department, Cleveland Museum of Natural History Four years working with the Kirtlandia sponsored Adopt-A-Student summer program

Areas of specialization or interest:

Any thing dealing with microorganisms but especially:
algal culture, ecology and taxonomy; plant genetics and tissue culture; microsporogenesis
taxonomy and paleoecology of pollen and spores.

Current Interests:

I am retired, so I am pursuing things that are interesting which includes anything dealing with microorganisms but specifically algal culture, ecology and taxonomy, plant genetics, tissue culture and microsporogenesis.  Additional interests include taxonomy and paleoecology of pollen and spores.

Current Research:

Taxonomy and paleoecology of pollen and spores, window sill ecology.
