Casts From Other Sources

As the reputation of the Physical Anthropology’s casting lab grew, opportunities arose to obtain casts that we did not have in our collection through trade - by exchanging our casts with those made by researchers from other institutions. In this way we were able to obtain casts of fossil hominids from sites around the world.

In other cases, where there were established casting programs in place, we purchased the casts outright.
