Physical Anthropology Research

The Physical Anthropology Department of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is one of the best human evolutionary studies centers in the world. Because of the large human and ape skeletal collection housed in the department, it has become a focal point for researchers in human skeletal variations, human osteology, physiology, anatomy and evolution.

Both in the field and in the lab, our research is at the forefront of anthropological studies in the world.
