From Osteological Collection

Collaborative Research

Since the Hamann Todd Osteological Collection was started in 1912, researchers have come from around the world to study it. Much of the collection-based work has been published and further information may be found in our department’s bibliographies.  Since there is frequently a time lag between the completion of a manuscript and its publication, an index to our research request forms for each of the last four years may be found here in Adobe Acrobat format. These indexes will give an idea of the diversity of research projects in the works.

Orthopaedics Research

The Laboratory of Physical Anthropology has research ties with two local institutions: University Hospitals and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.  Staff members from both institutions have used the Hamann-Todd Human Osteological collection as a major part of their research projects.
