Vertebrate Paleontology Casting

The Department of Vertebrate Paleontology casting lab works with an extensive collection of fossil fishes from Ohio and rare dinosaur specimens collected by Museum personnel. Casts can be prepared for a variety of research and display purposes.

All casts made of polyurethane plastic unless otherwise specified. All casts can be made in bonded bronze, upon request. All scientific specimens include a copy of the specimen card.

Whittlesey Celt

A ceremonial celt from the Whittlesey culture of prehistoric Ohio.  The piece is inscribed with the image of a bird which wraps around the piece. 
Cast in replica stone, may be used as a necklace pendant.
