Mission Statement of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History
To inspire, through science and education, a passion for nature, the protection of natural diversity, the fostering of health, and leadership to a sustainable future.
Support the Museum, Support Our People
Some of the most talented, caring, passionate and involved individuals work and volunteer at the Museum!
You can find our staff:
- Creating memorable visitor experiences
- Caring for some of the world’s most important collections
- Searching for new populations of rare plants
- Teaching school groups about fossils
- Assisting in a forensic investigation
- Hunting for humanity's ancient ancestors
Our curators work to understand the world as it once was, as it is now and as it might be in the future. Museum educators strive to bring quality science instruction to tens of thousands of Northeast Ohio students each year. And Natural Areas Division staff work to protect and maintain the region's rare habitats.
Your gift to the Museum makes it possible for these dedicated people to pursue this important work and helps us remain Ohio's premier institution for natural science.
