When is the Museum open? What days is the Museum closed?
The Museum is open every day of the year with the exception of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The Museum closes at 4pm (one hour early) on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. For more information on hours and prices, click here.

Is there parking at the Museum? What does it cost?
The Museum offers guarded, well-lit parking on a first-come, first-served basis. General parking is $8 minimum for the first two and a half hours, $1 for each additional half hour, with a daily maximum of $14. Special event parking is $10. Museum sponsored special event parking is $6. You can find out more about parking here.
What time are the planetarium shows?
The Shafran Planetarium offers several shows, some of which change on a monthly or seasonal basis. To find out the latest information about planetarium programming, call (216) 231-4600 or click here to see scheduled showtimes. Shows are $5/ticket with Museum admission. Member tickets are always free!

Is there a place to eat at the Museum?
Exploration, a Zack Bruell Restaurant, is now open at the Museum. There are also two picnic tables outside where you can take your lunch or snacks, weather permitting (no grills, please).
Are wheelchairs available at the Museum?

Is there an ATM at the Museum?
Can I leave the Museum and come back on the same day?
Yes! Your ticket is good for the day, so feel free to take a break and come back.
Can I get a wifi signal at the Museum?
Yes. You are welcome to use our free guest network during your visit. Cellular phone reception may be limited in some areas of the building. And of course, always remember to silence your phone during public programs and in the galleries.
Can I bring my stroller?
Yes, strollers are permitted throughout the Museum and there is an elevator for visitors.
