The Museum offers the following programs available to you in your classroom:

All programs address appropriate Ohio Academic Content Standards in science and social studies. Connect your students to Museum programs without leaving your school and save the expense of transportation through the Museum's outreach programming.

Distance Learning (DL)

Connect your students to Museum programs without leaving your school and save the expense of transportation through the Museum's award-winning Distance Learning (DL) programs. Our live, interactive videoconferencing programs are available to fit your schedule and curriculum needs. The Museum's Distance Learning Programs have earned the Pinnacle Award from the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration. Health on Wheels (HOW)

Health on Wheels is the Museum’s outreach program dedicated to health education.

Live Animal Assembly

For grades K and up; designed to meet Ohio’s New Learning Standards. Dynamic, informative and entertaining programs featuring native Ohio animals from the Museum’s Wildlife Resource Center. The mammals, birds and reptiles students will see were injured or orphaned at some time during their wild existence. They are received at the Museum as a part of our wild animal education program in the Wildlife Resources Center.

• Programs can be tailored to emphasize animal senses, classification, camouflage, communication, habitat or the food chain
• Opportunities are offered for questions and interaction with the presenter
• 1-hour programs are available Thursday mornings, September through May

Science-to-Go!™ (STG)

•Experience the wonders of nature in your classroom
•See Museum specimens and real instruments, and learn professional scientific methods
•60 minute, hands-on science programs
•Based on Pre-K to grade 8 Ohio Academic Content Standards
•Maximum of 30 students per class; larger class size may result in an additional charge
