Getting here by bus, train or shuttle

RTA Rapid Transit

Take the Red Line (Airport-Windermere) from the east or west to Cedar-University Rapid Station. From the station, catch the free Circle Link shuttle to the entrance of the Museum. Circle Link runs every 23 minutes from 6:15 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, and every 35 minutes from noon to 5:30 pm Sundays. Holiday hours may vary.


RTA's new Little Italy-University Circle Rapid Station is now open and is the closest station to the Museum (0.8 miles).
 

RTA HealthLine Bus Rapid Transit

RTA's HealthLine provides frequent service along Euclid Avenue from Cleveland Public Square to the Windermere station in East Cleveland. The closest stops to the Museum are by Adelbert Road and Severance Hall. From there, it's about a half-mile walk to the Museum.
 

In addition to the HealthLine, a number of regular RTA bus routes serve the Museum area, including the 9 (which comes down Mayfield Road from the Heights), the 48 (which comes from Shaker Square), the 10 (runs along E. 105th St.) and the 38 (runs along Hough Ave.). Paratransit

For transit riders with disabilities, RTA offers special paratransit service that can be scheduled to bring one to the Museum. For information about qualifying for the program and reserving rides, go here.

 

Circle Link Shuttle

Circle Link is a free shuttle service that runs in a loop past many University Circle attractions. One of the stops is the Museum's entrance. Circle Link runs every 23 minutes from 6:15 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, and every 35 minutes from noon to 5:30 pm Sundays. Holiday hours may vary.
