Join the Friends of CMNH on the second Saturday of each month at 10am for coffee, refreshments, and conversation, followed at 10:30am by the Friends of CMNH Science Series.
In this presentation, Environmental Health Specialist Alyssa Mills will explore the risks and rewards of protecting our trees from invasive insects.

About Alyssa Mills
Alyssa Mills is an Environmental Health Specialist with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, working in watershed protection to help safeguard local water resources. She also manages the Old Brooklyn Farmers Market and runs her STEMstead at Sundew Farm, an urban farm and environmental-education space on Cleveland’s West Side. A graduate researcher in forest entomology at The Ohio State University’s Wooster campus, Mills studies insecticide impacts on nontarget arthropods in Ohio’s forests.
