Discover Unique Experiences
The Museum can accommodate groups of 10 to 1,000. The Visitor Hall is our primary event space, where your guests will mix and mingle among iconic specimens such as "Happy" the Haplocanthosaurus. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the beautiful Thelma and Kent H. Smith Environmental Courtyard, a lovely space for an outdoor cocktail reception or wedding ceremony. Our 440-seat Murch Auditorium is the perfect space for meetings, lectures, and performances.
The Nathan and Fannye Shafran Planetarium provides a unique opportunity for your guests to take a trip through the cosmos with an astronomer as your guide. With its flexible seating options, the planetarium can even accommodate an intimate dinner under the stars.
Get wild! Experience the Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden—Presented by KeyBank. In this outdoor extension of the Museum, guests can stroll along soaring walkways while sipping cocktails and enjoying views of Ohio wildlife. Featuring native plants and animals, this immersive living gallery is perfect for pre-function receptions. Open until dusk.
Amenities
In addition to your event rental, the Museum will provide tables and chairs, housekeeping staff, security staffing throughout your event, and support from a Museum event manager.
Catering and Bar
The Museum is thrilled to partner with Levy Hospitality Group. As our exclusive caterer, Levy will work with you to create a customizable menu and offer full-service bar options for your event.
Parking
Self-pay parking is available in the Museum's secure parking garage with direct access to the Museum. Hosted parking and valet services can be arranged upon request.
