Egypt

Dates: February 23March 6, 2027

Few destinations capture the imagination like Egypt—a land considered the cradle of civilization. Headed by Dr. Meghan Strong, Egyptologist and the Museum’s Director of Collections, you’ll visit cities including Cairo and Luxor and journey to sites the average traveler won't see. Experience this once-in-a-lifetime trip to a region with one of the longest and most storied histories in the world.

The Museum traveled to Egypt in February 2025, and the trip was such a hit, we're going back!

  • Explore the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx enclosure, with special inside access.
  • Visit Saqqara, the burial ground for Egypt’s ancient capital Memphis.

Galápagos Islands

Few places on Earth offer an experience quite like the Galápagos—a living laboratory of evolution and one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. Known for its remarkable biodiversity and close encounters with wildlife found nowhere else, the Galápagos inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and continues to shape scientific discovery today. From giant tortoises to Galápagos penguins, this unforgettable journey offers a rare opportunity to experience nature up close in an extraordinary way.

  • Begin in Quito to visit Otavalo Market, a scenic rose plantation, and an expert introduction to the Galápagos.
