Sunday
August 2025
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Join us for an exploration of monarch butterflies, including their life cycle, their natural history, and how we can help them.
We’ll talk about host plants and nectar plants, and why these habitat components are critical for monarchs. Learn how these butterflies are tagged—you can even join in as we tag and release hand-raised monarchs. Then we’ll go on a hike and try to catch and tag some wild monarchs, too.
