During this open-house-style program, take a self-guided hike along a gravel utility access road at the wild western end of Mentor Marsh.
A Museum naturalist will answer questions and help spot fall wildflowers and wildlife, including migrating birds. We’ll enjoy wide-open views of the marsh and early-fall foliage.
Location
Enter the area via the utility access road gate at the end of Woodridge Lane and Forest Road in Mentor Headlands.

Free open house; no registration required
What to Bring
Bring binoculars, a hand lens, a camera, or any other tools for exploring. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

Our programs are held in all but severe weather, so please come prepared for the weather conditions. We recommend long pants and sturdy shoes, as the trail may be muddy.
