Join staff of the Museum’s Natural Areas division as we plant new seedlings at Mentor Marsh State Nature Preserve!
We’ll meet at the Zimmerman Trail parking lot on Headlands Road, where Dr. David Kriska, the Museum’s Restoration Ecologist, will offer an introduction to the history and ecological significance of Mentor Marsh and its surrounding uplands, then update us on its ongoing restoration. After, we’ll head down the trail to plant native tree saplings along the Zimmerman Trail, which overlooks the marsh. Museum staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We hope you’ll join us in restoring habitat at Mentor Marsh—it should be both informative and fun!
