Member Night: Perkins10

Join us Friday, September 11, from 5–7 p.m. as we celebrate 10 years since the redesign of Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden—Presented by KeyBank.

You are invited to experience Perkins after hours with special activities, intimate access, and opportunities to connect with the people who know our animals best. The evening begins with a special presentation by Harvey Webster, followed by opportunities to explore Perkins and chat with Wildlife staff about the animals and habitats throughout the Center.

5 pm | Special Presentation with Harvey Webster, Museum Ambassador Emeritus
Hear from Harvey, who was the Chief Wildlife Officer at the time of the Perkins design and construction, in a special anniversary presentation exploring the stories, science, and wildlife that make Perkins such a unique part of the Museum.

5:45 pm | Explore Perkins with Wildlife Staff
After Harvey’s presentation, wander through Perkins at your own pace while Wildlife staff are stationed throughout the Center to share stories and answer questions about the animals and their habitats.

6:20 pm | Goodnight, Gorilla & Goodnight, Animals Walk
Gather for a family reading of Goodnight, Gorilla, then join us for a special walk through Perkins to say goodnight to the animals as the evening comes to a close.

Perkins10 is presented by KeyBank. This special evening is exclusively for our members. We hope you’ll join us for this intimate celebration—and then come back throughout the rest of September to help celebrate our wildlife all month long.
