Travel back in time to discover how our earliest ancestors lived, adapted, and survived.

Through activities, demonstrations, and interactive exhibits, explore the incredible journey of human evolution. From ancient hominins to modern humans, uncover the innovations that helped shape our species.

Activities

The Science of You features special activities provided by the Museum and community partners, including:

• Get hands-on with experimental archaeology and flintknapping demonstrations with Kent State University
• Learn about the evolution of the food we eat with Dr. Nicole Burt, Senior Director of Curatorial and Research Affairs
• Discover how humans have impacted the watershed over the last 100 years with Doan Brook Watershed Partnership
• Make your own craft through blocking printing with WaveSpace Studio

Tickets

All activities are included with general admission. Residents of the City of Cleveland, East Cleveland, Brooklyn, Euclid, Garfield Heights, Maple Heights, and Warrensville Heights receive free admission every Saturday and Sunday as part of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Days. Proof of address is required upon arrival for free entry.
