“Snow” Much Fun: Museum Launches Two After-Hours Experiences this Winter

Epoch

CLEVELAND, OH—November 19, 2025—The Cleveland Museum of Natural History invites visitors to bundle up for some “cool” nights at the Museum with two after-hour experiences beginning in December! Whether you’re coming with colleagues, friends, or flying solo to dance with the dinos, these events offer a one-of-a-kind night to remember.

EPOCH Cleveland | Friday, December 5, 2025
Kick off the winter season with the return of Museum’s flagship 21+ event, EPOCH Cleveland. Join us for a celebration of the city—and the people who make it interesting—in one of the most dynamic spaces in University Circle. Dance the night away with native Clevelander and global turn-tablist DJ @mick, enjoy after-hours access to the Museum's galleries, sip craft cocktails, chill in a planetary lounge, engage in tote bag screen printing with Wave Space Studio, and more. Don't miss the biggest party in (natural) history! Plus, your ticket gets you access to the brand-new exhibit, ROCK OF AGES: The Evolutionary Art of Derek Hess. Explore the work of Derek Hess, a renowned artist of the rock poster art renaissance, and see how science can be a launching pad for art.

This is a 21+ event with a cash bar. Tickets are available in advance (non‐members and members) with special pricing for Museum members.

Chill @ CMNH | Fridays, December 19, December 26, and January 2, 2026
The Museum’s newest winter series, Chill @ CMNH, is sure to banish the winter blues! On select Fridays, enjoy after-hours fun from 5–9pm and experience a cozy evening of exploration and entertainment as you wander through Museum exhibits, sip drinks at the cash bars, and watch captivating films in Murch Auditorium. For the curious, join flashlight tours of Perkins Wildlife Center and discover after-dark encounters with the Museum’s animal ambassadors. Whether you plan a winter date night or bring your friends and family, you’re sure to enjoy a unique after-hours experience!

The series kicks off Friday, December 19, with a screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas in Murch Auditorium at 7pm. Additional Chill @ CMNH dates include Friday, December 26, featuring The NeverEnding Story and Friday, January 2, 2026 featuring Superman (2025).

Ticket pricing includes the film screening and flashlight tours; Museum members may attend for free; reservations recommended.
