Celebrating 10 Years

This September marks the 10th anniversary of the transformed Perkins Wildlife Center. Celebrate with us throughout the month as we recognize a decade of connecting visitors with Ohio’s native wildlife in our transformed space.  

All month long, discover more about our animal ambassadors through special daily wildlife talks featuring their unique personalities and remarkable adaptations. Learn more about the history of Perkins on our blog.

Family Day  

September 12 from 10am–5pm

Commemorate 10 years of Perkins with a day of family-friendly activities and opportunities to learn more about the animal ambassadors who call Perkins home.

Member Night 

September 11 from 5–7pm

Museum members are invited to a special anniversary celebration with a special presentation and exclusive access to Perkins after hours.

Family Yoga  

September 13 from 9:30–10am

Enjoy a 30-minute, family, yoga session for kids and adults of all ages with themed animal poses and movement, ending with a quiet book reading.
