Curious minds and eager explorers wanted!
We offer a range of opportunities for interns, volunteers, scholars, and anyone else that wants to contribute to the work we are doing at Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
Our longstanding Kirtlandia Research Internship Program offers college students studying the natural sciences opportunities to work alongside Museum staff and scientists, allowing students to hone their skills in their preferred research area. Funded for more than forty years by Friends of CMNH, budding scientists are given ample opportunities to contribute to their field and present on their findings while learning valuable hands-on lessons.
Fossils? Feathers? Friendly service? We also welcome anyone interested in contributing to our 200-strong network of volunteers to browse our volunteer opportunities. Spread over more than 20 departments, our volunteer opportunities range from Visitor Experience and Astronomy to volunteering in our Paleontology Collections or at Mentor Marsh Nature Center. And if you’re on the hunt for an interest-specific community that shares your passion for science and nature, find your place in one of our clubs or societies.
