Seeking curious minds and eager explorers!
We offer a range of opportunities for interns, volunteers, scholars, and anyone else who would like to contribute to our work at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
Our longstanding Kirtlandia Intern Program offers college students studying the natural sciences the opportunity to work alongside Museum staff and researchers. Funded for more than 40 years by Friends of CMNH, this program allows budding scientists to contribute to their field and present on their findings while learning valuable hands-on skills.
Fossils? Feathers? Friendly service? We invite anyone interested in joining our 200-strong network of volunteers to browse our volunteer opportunities. Spread across more than 20 departments, our opportunities range from supporting our visitor experience and astronomy teams to volunteering in our paleontology collections or at Mentor Marsh Nature Center. And if you’re on the hunt for an interest-specific community that shares your passion for science and nature, find your place in one of our clubs or societies.
